Dairy Industry Forum is the most significant event in the Russian dairy industry and determines the industry development. In line with the established tradition, the Forum will include international exhibitions, scientific and practice-oriented conferences, workshops, round tables, contests and excursion programs. The Forum is the only specialized event in Russia to represent a whole cycle of industrial processing of milk - from receipt of milk raw material to finished product prepared for sale, including the special equipment, technologies, certification, transportation, packing, and storage.
Traditionally the participants of the Forum are Wimm-Bill-Dun, Danon, Unimilk, Tetra Pak, DeLaval, etc.
Dairy Industry International Forum most fully reflects innovations and achievements in the industry. Cattle husbandry enterprises and farms, wholesale companies, and finished goods sector companies are invited to participate. The Forum business program includes the following activities: panel discussions among the dairy industry leaders; congress of the Dairy Union of Russia; scientific and practice-oriented conferences, round tables and workshops on the topics dedicated to the technology of dairy cattle husbandry, development of mixed fodders market, aspects of dairy herd maintenance, technologies of forage production, problems related to attraction of investments; professional contests; technical excursions to milk processing enterprises; master-classes for last year students of specialized institutes and universities of Russia.
Within the framework of the Dairy Industry Forum the International “CHEESE SALON” is held. This unique event is held for 3 thematic days. “CHEESE SALON” is to be presented by a separate exposition and it is also supplemented by the extensive program including presentations of manufacturers of the most worldwide popular types of cheese, by presentation of manufacturers of equipment, components, round tables, contests and tastings sessions. The Salon is participated by representatives of the interested Russian ministries and embassies of the foreign countries in Moscow, domestic and foreign suppliers of cheese, manufacturers of equipment and components, and also by representatives of commercial firms, restaurateurs and hoteliers. Presentations of various types of cheese are conducted by experts from various countries. The tasting commission includes representatives of cheese manufacturers, scientists, and cooks. The Forum is also participated by the heads of the federal and regional authorities, industry international and national organizations, supervisors and experts of the dairy industry enterprises, dairy husbandry enterprises, research and educational establishments.
The following events are annually held at the same time with Dairy Industry Forum: Meat Industry, international Exhibitions Refrigerating Equipment and Frozen foods industry, which are traditionally participated by the leaders of these industries.
